Transport Policy and Planning Scholarship

The Transport Policy and Planning Scholarship is set up in 2009-2010 as an encouragement to support good quality local and/or overseas students to undertake the Master of Transport Policy and Planning (MTP&P) programme. The scholarship is open to application for all MTP&P full-time candidates who have achieved First Class Honours or equivalent in his/her undergraduate studies and/or Distinction in his/her master studies. The scholarship shall be deducted directly from the composition fee of the MTP&P programme of the awardee(s). The value of the scholarship is HKD20,000 per awardee. Applicants may apply for the scholarship at the same time they submit their application for admission.

STEM Subject for Quality Migrant Admission Scheme

Transport Policy and Planning is included in the Reference List of “STEM” Subjects (https://www.immd.gov.hk/pdf/reference_list_of_STEM_subjects_QMAS.pdf) for Quality Migrant Admission Scheme (QMAS) by Immigration Department. One Assessment Criteria can be met in the General Points Tests of QMAS if the applicant’s master’s or doctoral degree awarded by an eligible university is pertinent to “STEM”.

Congratulations to CHEN Chi, an MATPP full time student (2020-2021) for being awarded the CILTHK Scholarship 2020/21 (Master Degree category). She is awarded with a bursary of HKD4,000 and a certificate. The Scholarship aims at enabling students to become prominent and respected members who can positively contribute to Hong Kong’s Society.

Congratulations to Sheik Maaz MILFER, an MATPP full time student (2020-2021) for being awarded the Taufik Ali Memorial Scholarship. The Scholarship covers both tuition fees and living expenses; and it aims to further enhance the livelihoods of Hong Kong Muslim Youths in terms of their pursuit in higher education, enabling them to become prominent and respected members who can positively contribute to Hong Kong’s Society.
